Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from the mixed race family of South London in England. Her father is a Nigerian-Swiss, and her mother is English. Her family was raised on a council estate in the south of London. In the ages of 14she enrolled in The Brit School. She attended an academy called the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London which she graduated with an acting BA. At the academy and performing in numerous stage plays, including King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe got her start in acting by starring in a movie titled Storm Damage. Since then she's made appearances as a guest for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film came from her role in the Woody Allen 2007 movie Cassandra's Dream. She starred with Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. In the following year she was cast as Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she was a part of Trexx as Ollie as well as six episodes of Flipside. Also, the ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl saw her in 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe also played the main character on How to lose friends & betray people, which was released by Sony Pictures Entertainment back in 2008. The credits she has in her theatre work are Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams and Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe had her official US debut in the 2009 drama The Beautiful Life, which just aired two episodes for The CW before being cancelled. In February 2011, she was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Madekwe appeared in all episodes of the show's second season as an regular. But in May of 2013, it was announced that word broke that the actress would quit the show due to her guest appearance on the premiere episode of its third season. From 2014 until 2016she appeared in Salem on the CW as Tituba. Madekwe and her boyfriend who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were wed in June of 2012. They've collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl, and he is also a part of the cast in the television series Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress nominated twice for the Gemini Award, hails from the large Hamilton family. Her parents Roy and Patty, as well as her four brothers, Brett, Todd, and Bram, were all present. Ashley's brothers were athletic and played baseball in summer as well as hockey in winter. Ashley did not have the ability to actually walk. She was a dancer. At 2 and a 1/2 and a half, she was a part of Baby Ballet. Ashley discovered a love for dancing when she began the Baby Ballet. After graduating from high school, Ashley danced competitively in the top divisions in tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, acrobatics, musical theatre, lyrical and hip hop. She won the top individualist in all the most prestigious dance competitions like, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance just to mention a few.
